The name sake for all of the worlds Geisers is Geysir, in southern Iceland.  It's a major tourist stop. 
This is actually Strokkur.  It erupts pretty reliably to 20 to 30 meters high  every few minutes ...
Few people bother to walk to the trail to the actual Geysir :(

This is the boundary between the tectonic plates that carry these two continents.  It is one of the few places in the world where you can see an oceanic spreading center at the surface.
Partially collapsed lava tunnel ... probably also a home to a troll.
Thrihnukagigur is a small cinder cone (volcano) in southern Iceland, not too far from the famous Blue Lagoon.  It is unique in that the magma did not form a plug, and the cone did not collapse.  If you are brave, you can descend the 170 meters vertically into the magma chamber to explore ...
There is an open gondola "elevator" that will lower you down.  Not for the faint of heart ...

This last shot is of the spectacular stratovolcano Snæfellsjökull, the volcano that was the setting of Joules Verne's "Journey to the Center of the Earth".
