Bees are amazing creatures, and really hard to photograph.  We don't mow our yard in the spring to allow the Tradescantia (common name Spiderwort) to bloom.  The bees love this stuff, and as soon as the flowers open up in the morning they start to move across the yard and collect the pollen.  Ok, this first shot isn't a Trad, but this girl has a HUGE pollen basket and needed to be first!
